Craft Club - Your Pick of Weekly Crafts

There are lots of arts and craft clubs offering weekly and monthly craft options. You need to know what they have to share with you but more importantly, you need to know just exactly what you are looking for.

1. Do you want a monthly or weekly craft program? Be sure you know how many weeks or months your Club lasts.

2. You may be asked to pay weekly or monthly. Choose what you feel you can afford and be sure you know how often you will receive your craft projects.

3. Do they have any useful bonuses to attract you into the club? Some offer attractive extras which have considerable value. You will need to decide if any 'freebies' are of benefit to you or if you are happy to go with the main offering.

4. Allow yourself the time it takes to complete your craft project before the next one arrives. That way you will not begrudge either the money or the time commitment. A wobbly on either of these might see you give up on your chosen Arts and Craft Club altogether.

5. When you are checking through the options do a bit of research on your chosen club. How long have they been around? What else do they offer? How will your projects be delivered?

6. Make sure you understand all the sign-up information so that you will be able to cancel your membership, if you choose to. Some make it easier than others. You may not want to have to speak to someone who will persuade you back! How do you opt out?

7. Are their projects written or do they have videos as well? Perhaps they offer both. You will know how best you like to learn crafts. The best way to have someone show you crafts is through video, but perhaps you like to read and do.

8. If you prefer written instructions can you get a sample first to see if you understand how they put things together? It is always best if you can try before you buy. That way there are no surprises.

9. Watch one of their videos to see if you like their house style. It does not matter if it is homemade - we know some of the best things are. Look at the quality of teaching. How much are you learning and how quickly by the way they are showing you?

10. If you find a style you like, see what else they have to share with you when you leave the Club, or when the membership finishes. Then you can carry on learning with those you have come to trust and appreciate.

Put in a bit of research time before you part with any money and you are less likely to be disappointment. It is good for you - and for those you 'buy into'. No Company wants you to be disappointed by their Terms. Most information should be clear on their site but it is down to you to ask those important questions.

If you pick the right one you could be starting a happy liaison.
