Puppy Pups Ornament Craft All Kids Will Have Fun Doing

Every kid likes puppies. There is a very cute puppy pups ornament that they can have fun doing no matter what age they are. This is an easy and fun craft to do. This also makes a great gift for parents if they wish to use their new ornament that way.

The materials that you will need for this puppy pups ornament craft is:

Ping pong ball (one for each ornament)

Black felt

Scissors

Tacky glue

2 (10 mm) Wiggle eyes (you can use other sizes if you prefer)

3/4” White pompom

1/4” Black pompom

Decorative string or ribbon (this will be what is used to hang it)

Paper

Pencil

White pencil (this is for tracing the pattern on black felt for ears)

You want to notice where the wording is on the ping pong ball because you want to make sure that the ears are covering it. The first step is to glue on the white pompom for the nose and then glue the black pompom onto the white pompom to finish off the nose. Then glue the eyes above where the nose is for this cute puppy pups face to be complete.

Now you want to take the string or ribbon and cut it so you can make the piece for hanging the puppy pups ornament. Make sure that you knot the end of the string or ribbon. You want to then glue the string or ribbon above the wiggle eyes. Make sure that this is glued in the middle of the wording on the ball because you want this to be covered over by the ears.

Now to make the puppy pups ears you want to draw some ears onto paper and then cut it out. You can experiment with this until you find the size and shape of the ears that you want. Once you have the ears done on paper and cut out you need to trace the pattern onto the felt and then cut the felt ears out. Next you will glue the ears on the top of the puppy and over the ends of the hanger (ribbon or string) and over the words on the ball. Then you just have to let it dry.

Now the puppy pups ornament is complete. They will be proud of what they have made and can take it to hang wherever they want to. This is something that kids of all ages will enjoy doing.
