The popularity of Mickey Mouse has never waned in spite of the fact that he has been around for over 50 years. With a cartoon character so popular, you just know that there are plenty of party crafts from which you can select. For something quick and easy, you can create your own puzzles. You can take the pictures from the Internet or select pages from a coloring book that you have in the house. To make the picture sturdy, you may want to glue a piece of cardboard to the back of each picture. Give each child a picture to color, and when they are finished, have them cut the picture into pieces that can be fit into a puzzle.

You might also help the children develop their own Mickey Mouse Word Search puzzles and crossword puzzles. They can then take them home and see how well they did by asking their brothers and sisters to solve them.

What would really thrill the children is to let them write their own Mickey Mouse story. Let them write the story and then put it onto the computer so you can create a personalized book for them. This only works, of course, if you have the software already installed on your computer, so this idea may not be feasible for everyone. For those who are capable of doing it, the thrill you will get from the children will never be surpassed.

Even if you don't have software to publish a book, let them write the story on the computer, add some pictures of Mickey Mouse and print it for each child to take home.
